Meet Lindsey
Owner, Board-Certified Music Therapist
Hey folx, I'm Lindsey (she/her), and I am an experiential therapist and intuitive healer in Waukesha, Wisconsin. My practice is anti-colonial, anti-capitalist, and anti-carceral. I have worked as a music therapist (MT-BC) in inpatient mental health, hospice, and memory care, and while I loved the work I did with the people I served, I found there to be fundamental flaws in each of these systems that conflicted with my core values. In 2024, I left corporate health care for good to focus on building Resonance.
Resonance is where the internal and external vibrate at complimentary frequencies. Resonance is integration. By building systems that support our own unique tune, we create harmony. I understand that to be mentally well requires having all our needs met. I have special passion for working with those of intersecting marginalized identities.
Approach to Practice
My approach to therapy is creative, collaborative, and community oriented. I draw from feminist and queer theory, as well as Community Music Therapy (CoMT). I believe that each of us already exists as a whole and beautiful creation, and that we continue to grow towards greater wholeness through our work. I practice through a social justice approach, using critical and systems theories to challenge levels of power and oppression which affects those with whom I work.
